Good evening, Broncos Country.

This Friday afternoon, Eric Goodman and Will Peterson (sitting in for Les Shapiro) of Mile High Sports discussed a handful of Broncos topics on The Afternoon Drive. In their First Bank, First Take segment, the two approached the topic of the Broncos injury report, which is the longest of the season.

Peyton Manning, Danny Trevathan and T.J. Ward have officially been ruled out for Sunday's match-up against the Oakland Raiders. C.J. Anderson, Omar Bolden, David Bruton, Jr., Vernon Davis, Ronnie Hillman, Andre Caldwell and Bennie Fowler are all listed as questionable. In their opinion, Vernon Davis and Ronnie Hillman are likely to play Sunday but don't believe they will see the field.

According to Peterson, the Broncos are bordering on disaster due to injuries and he is especially concerned with Denver's lack of depth at safety and who will take over for Trevathan at linebacker. His primary worry is how the Broncos rush defense will perform against Latavius Murray, the AFC's leading rusher,  whom he believe could rush for over 140 yards due to the wealth of injuries on the back-end of the Broncos defense.

Goodman was more optimistic, down-playing the significance of the injured Broncos by stating that only two starters will be absent and if the Broncos defense give up more than 24 points in the game that they would be considered a "fraud."

Mile High Report's Managing Editor Kyle Montgomery then joined the show to discuss Star Wars and his thoughts on this weekends' game against the Raiders.  Montgomery also shares some concern on how the Broncos will fair against Murray this weekend, but doesn't believe he will have as large of a game that Peterson espoused earlier in the show.

When asked what his largest concern is as the Broncos approach the final stretch he responded with the offensive line, which has been worrisome for him since the team lost Ryan Clady to injury. Last but not least, Montgomery discussed "Brockmania" and how excited fans are about the fourth-year quarterback leading the franchise.

Afterwards, Goodman and Peterson chimed in on a few more subjects, in particular Osweiler's continued learning of the game on the fly and whether or not fans should expect the team to perform better against the Raiders than they did in their first match-up of the season.  Finally, the two get into yet another discourse on the great quarterback debate of Osweiler vs. Manning.

Feel free to head on over to Mile High Sports' Soundcloud to catch the rest of the segments and to their official site to check out their in-depth analysis of all things Broncos.

Once again, thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend.
