The perfect lineup in standard scoring in week 13 would have looked like this:
Cam Newton*/Marcus Mariota* (35 standard scoring points)*, Javorius Allen (22)*, T.J. Yeldon (18)*, Allen Robinson (33)*, Antonio Brown (29)*, Doug Baldwin (21)*, Richard Rodgers (20), Eagles (24), Shayne Graham (16).
Those asterisks next to the (scores) are players that this column recommended as plays last week. That's 175 standard league points (and that's not even how DFS scores). I take personal checks.
My shiesty pick got you 9 points in standard scoring if you went with J.J. Nelson. Matt Hasselbeck did an impression of his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hasselbeck impression (losing to a bunch of liberals) scoring 4 points last week. I think that you get 4 points just for being a playable option on FanDuel.
My sleepers for you last week:
Matt Hasselbeck (4), Marcus Mariota (35), Brian Hoyer (22), Kirk Cousins (12), Austin Davis (insanity pick 5), Andre Ellington (INJ), Jeremy Langford (5), Antonio Andrews (12), C.J. Anderson (5), Ronnie Hillman (5), Charles Sims (7), Duke Johnson (3), James White (insanity pick 17), Jeremy Butler (4), Cecil Shorts (9), DeSean Jackson (12), Robert Woods (7), Devante Parker (12), John Brown (11), Vincent Jackson (8), Tavon Austin (3), Anquan Boldin (3), Marvin Jones (11), Pierre Garcon (insanity pick 5), Jacob Tamme (6), Heath Miller (4), Coby Fleener (2), Crockett Gillmore (insanity pick 2), Josh Lambo (4), Washington D/ST (7).
If you pulled off waiver wire insertions of Mariota, White, Andrews, Jackson, Parker, Jones and Tamme you likely won off of the waiver wire again last week with 116 standard league points off of the waiver wire.
I have no idea what I am doing...
League Play Waiver Wire:
*Sunday and Monday player recommendations only
Week 14; You're in the playoffs, so you are who are you are when you got here, you've likely got a combination of someone like DeAndre Hopkins and Devonta Freeman or Tom Brady and Julio Jones... Well, you're about to have a rough week with any of those guys, so you're going to need your sleepers, so pay attention from this point forward.
My Week 13 QB recommendations: Matt Hasselbeck (4), Marcus Mariota (35), Brian Hoyer (22), Kirk Cousins (12), Austin Davis (insanity pick 5).
This week (week 14): Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariota, Alex Smith, Brian Hoyer, Kirk Cousins, Matt Hasselbeck 'This is insane' (in that you'll be flying by the seat of your pants, but hopefully in a good way): Blaine Gabbert.

This week (week 14): San Francisco 49ers
Both my defense and my kicker are 'insanes' this week by the way. However, they have great match-ups.
Get called shiesty this Monday and Tuesday:
The object of a shiesty is to pick up the guy on Saturday or Sunday, play him or not, but just make sure that you have him on your roster. This way during the games on Sunday or the next day on Monday someone in your league will think they're being slick and boom! He's not there, he's on your roster and he's available for DeAndre Hopkins or Devonta Freeman.
J.J. Nelson got on the board last week, but Matt Hasselbeck was a bad choice, sorry guys.
This week I like Eddie Royal who looks like he is finally back from his injury, along with tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins. He barely played last week and Jameis Winston targeted him 6 times. I see Royal as a high-upside WR3 and Seferian-Jenkins as a home run swing TE1 and at worst a flex if you have TE flex.
Daily Fantasy:
What fun is FanDuel if you don't get the satisfaction of grabbing someone on the cheap and watching him light up your scoreboard and wallet?
Go with these guys:
QB - Blake Bortles, Cam Newton, Drew Brees, Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson, Tyrod Taylor, Ben Roethlisberger, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Johnny Manziel, Ryan Tannehill.
RB - Thomas Rawls, Devonta Freeman, Doug Martin, LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Shaun Draughn, DeAngelo Williams, T.J. Yeldon, Lamar Miller, Jonathan Stewart, Eddie Lacy.
WR - Odell Beckham, Allen Robinson, Antonio Brown, Brandin Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Brandon Marshall, Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffery, Demaryius Thomas, Danny Amendola, Sammy Watkins, Allen Hurns, Dez Bryant, Doug Baldwin, Martavis Bryant, Jeremy Maclin, T.Y. Hilton.
TE - Greg Olsen, Delanie Walker, Travis Kelce, Tyler Eifert, Gary Barnidge, Jordan Reed, Scott Chandler, Benjamin Watson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates.
Avoid these guys:
QB - Matt Schaub, Brock Osweiler, Jay Cutler, Matt Cassel, Matt Ryan, Derek Carr, Philip Rivers.
RB - Javorius (Buck) Allen, Chris Ivory, Giovanni Bernard, James Starks, Ryan Mathews.
WR - Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, Emmanuel Sanders, Golden Tate, Malcolm Floyd, Kamar Aiken, Devante Adams, James Jones, Pierre Garcon.
TE - Kyle Rudolph, Jordan Cameron, Jacob Tamme, Coby Fleener, Eric Ebron.
Side note: Rough week for bread and butter receivers Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins, I'd avoid them in DFS.
Broncos players:
Ronnie Hillman is going to get the start, but I'd expect him to be pulled for Juwan Thompson at the first sign of Denver pulling away. Hillman is a big banged up, so you might want to insert Juwan Thompson into a DFS lineup just so that you can rub it in all of the faces of people that don't really care either way.
I think that Demaryius Thomas is a solid start against the Raiders, but I don't feel the same about Emmanuel Sanders. I also have Brock Osweiler listed elsewhere in the column as a 'sit'. I do have Vernon Davis in a Thursday lineup that I have listed below in my craziest DFS lineup section. I don't know that I'd play him in your playoff league though.
Start Brandon McManus and the Broncos defense/special teams.
Brock Osweiler... Don't use him, not even if you have to, look at my sleepers they're better options this week in my opinion. First as happy as the Denver faithful are with Osweiler as a quarterback leading their team, there is a bit of confirmation bias at play as Osweiler is 4:2 TD-to-INT in the last 9 quarters. That's not blowing up anyone's scoreboard, now San Diego's record does not reflect that if we're talking fantasy defenses, the Chargers defense has given up an average of 17.83 points in standard leagues to fantasy quarterbacks over the last 4 weeks. For reference Denver has given up an average of 17.41 over that same time span
My craziest Daily Fantasy Sports lineup this week:
Jameis Winston, Thomas Rawls, David Johnson, Brandin Cooks, Allen Robinson, Larry Fitzgerald, Vernon Davis, Graham Gano, Denver D/ST.
