The Denver Broncos open the game up with a solid drive, but they decided to get cute down near the red zone with a reverse to Cody Latimer that nearly got fumbled. Still, Brock Osweiler looks crisp and ready and the Broncos put up a field goal to go up 3-0 over the Oakland Raiders.
Brock goes 6 for 6 for 54 yards in Denver's first drive, but 3rd down falls short. Brandon McManus' 41-yard FG is good. 3-0 #Broncos.

On the Raiders first drive an illegal contact penalty on Chris Harris Jr. extended the drive on the Raiders first third down, but then Von Miller came alive with a strip sack on Derek Carr on the next third down to end the drive for good.
Brock Osweiler's completed his first ten passes of the game, but his first incomplete pass ends the Broncos next drive, but Brandon McManus is there to put the Broncos up 6-0 with the biggest play of the driving being a strike to Vernon Davis over the middle for 19 yards to put the Broncos down in scoring range.
Two promising drives end short. Osweiler is 10 of 11, but McManus is 2 of 2. #Broncos up 6-0.

The Raiders got a quick three and out on their next possession to give the ball right back to the Broncos. The Broncos end the quarter with a failed Osweiler deep ball and will be punting to start the second quarter.
