Trent Richardson was not alone at Dove Valley on Tuesday.
In addition to Richardson, the Broncos worked out ten other players, according to the team Senior Digital Reporter Andrew Mason. The players are being considered for futures contracts, Mason confirmed.
Fullbacks Mannaseh Garner and Emil Igwenagu were among the worked out players, showing that Denver still has interest in the position. James Casey and Joe Don Duncan did not pan out, and the team does not currently have a FB listed on the roster.
Virgil Green, a tight end, is listed as the team's starting fullback on their depth chart, followed by running back Juwan Thompson.
Quarterback Ryan Lindley, who had a bumpy start with the Cardinals, also worked out for Denver. He spent time with the Patriots earlier this season.
Tight end Nick Kasa, a University of Colorado Boulder grad, joined receivers Jerrell Jernigan, Greg Little, Denarius Moore, and Devier Posey. Moore scored seven touchdowns with the Raiders in 2012.
Running backs Richardson, Cyrus Gray, and Daniel Thomas rounded out the workouts. In two career games against Denver, former Dolphins RB Thomas rushed 22 times for 72 yards and a score.
Denver can sign players to future contracts when its season ends.
