If 20 players wasn't enough for your tastes for the Broncos injury report: congratulations. You can read one more.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas didn't have a good game against the Oakland Raiders (dropping a touchdown pass, a critical 3rd down pass in the 4th quarter, and suffering a shoulder injury). Now the repercussions of that game are being felt in Week 15.
Thomas missed practice Thursday, a day after he wasn't even listed on the injury report, suggesting that he may have experienced a setback in the shoulder injury he suffered against the Raiders (see update below). On the bright side, head coach Gary Kubiak said it was merely a rest day for Thomas.

Perhaps the "rest day" is a way for the Broncos to try and shake up Thomas' preparation routine. He's suffered from critical drops in two of the last three games, and we suggested that he and the Broncos look at new ways to prepare in order to change his habit of drops. Perhaps this, combined with his shoulder injury, led to the rest day. Hopefully the rest can help D.T. get his mind (and shoulder) right.
Meanwhile, quarterback Peyton Manning practiced for the second straight day Thursday. Although he's been ruled out for the Steelers game, it's another promising sign for a potential return for Manning this season.
Update
Demaryius Thomas was officially listed to have missed practice, Non-Injury Related, so (officially) the shoulder injury does not look to have played a part in the decision to rest D.T.
