Who do you have in the early games? I took the Chiefs, Texans, Jaguars, Vikings, Patriots, Giants, and Redskins.

Surprisingly there are not as many early games as usual. You rarely see a nearly equal number of early to afternoon games in a non-Bye week. The bad news for me is that the Raiders game precludes me from getting what is mostly a Broncos-Steelers country this week.

It feels like an upset kind of weekend to me. There will be at least three or four major upsets. At least that is what my gut is telling me.

The non-upsets, I think, will be the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Baltimore Ravens, the Minnesota Vikings over the Chicago Bears, the Washington Redskins over the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaugars over the Atlanta Falcons, and the New England Patriots beating the Tennessee Titans. Though I feel like Marcus Mariota is the kind of quarterback that could give a Bill Belichick defense fits.

The two morning upsets are probably going to be the Houston Texans over the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants over the Carolina Panthers. I think the Colts are a train wreck, so that isn't a huge upset pick, but taking Eli Manning and the Giants over Cam Newton and Panthers is. That game is going to be close, but somehow the Panthers drop their first game of the season today.

Who are you rooting for in these early games?
