The Denver Broncos Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals will be the Broncos fifth primetime game of the season. The previous four primetime games all went the Broncos way.
A Week 2 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night (31-24). A Week 3 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday night (24-12). A Week 8 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night (29-10). And best of all, a Week 12 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night (30-24).
These four games tell the story of the Broncos season. Massive problems with offense being saved by a dominant defense. A short but sweet flashback to Manning's best play as a Bronco. And a glimpse of what a Kubiak offense with a mobile young quarterback (and a running game) might look like.
But after two straight losses - two team losses - the Broncos are in a funk. And if they can't find a way to best the Bengals, all of those previous primetime wins won't help the Broncos get into the playoffs.
The Broncos are 19-9 all-time versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30PM MT on ESPN.
