After playing on Monday night, the Broncos decided to practice late Wednesday to give the players some extra rest to recover from a tough victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Broncos also decided to make today's practice only a walkthrough session.

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall had a MRI on his foot earlier today, but thankfully the results came back negative and he is expected to play Sunday. To give him some more time to rest, the Broncos coaches decided to give Marshall a rest day today.

Brandon Marshall will not practice today. It's a walk through this evening, but I don't think Brandon will be involved at all."

Kubiak also gave us an update on quarterback Brock Osweiler's shoulder and elbow injuries. According to him, Osweiler's shoulder "is fine", but his shoulder is giving him troubles.

"Brock's shoulder is fine. Actually, his elbow is a little sore. He's just beat up from, this is what, six starts for him now and playing for seven weeks in a row? I just think that he's going through the wear and tear. We've had a couple of good days of treatment. Like I said, we'll bounce him through tonight and just try to do a lot of mental work and get back to work tomorrow."

Speaking of quarterbacks, veteran quarterback Peyton Manning returned to practice today for the first time since mid-November. Kubiak say's he doesn't believe Manning is 100% and that he won't reach that until the season is over.

"I don't think Peyton is going to be—first off, I don't think anybody is 100 percent after playing all these games, but I don't think he's going to be totally well until the season is over and he's had time to get some rest."

Some were concerned that second-year wide receiver Cody Latimer was a healthy scratch on Sunday night. Come to find out, Latimer wasn't healthy. He says he came down with an illness on Sunday Night, but he's better now.
