According to the Denver Broncos, they have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with tight end Owen Daniels. It's reportedly a  three-year, $12 million for Daniels

"Owen is a two-time Pro Bowl tight end who’s had a great deal of production throughout his NFL career," Elway said. "He’s a versatile, well-rounded and proven player in this league. Owen has a lot of experience playing for Head Coach Gary Kubiak and knows this offense. We’re glad he’s going to be a Denver Bronco."

Daniels (6-3, 245 pounds) is a 10th-year player who has started 109-of-115 career regular-season games with Houston (2006-13) and Baltimore (2014). He entered the NFL with the Texans as a fourth-round selection (98th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft from the University of Wisconsin.

"I’ve had the opportunity to coach Owen for the last nine years, and he’s the consummate pro," Kubiak said. "He has one goal – to win a championship. Owen is a great player and an even better person and teammate. He is a leader and the type of guy you want on your football team."

A Pro Bowl selection following the 2008 and 2012 seasons, Daniels has totaled 433 career receptions for 5,144 yards (11.9 avg.) with 33 touchdowns. Daniels also owns 30 catches for 338 yards (11.3 avg.) with one touchdown in six postseason starts.

He has caught at least one pass in 103 consecutive regular-season games dating to his rookie year to tie for the longest active streak in the NFL among tight ends (Jason Witten, Dal.).

Daniels spent his first eight NFL seasons with Houston and finished his tenure with the club ranked second in Texans history with 385 receptions and 4,617 receiving yards. He signed with the Ravens in 2014 and finished third on the team in receptions (48), receiving yards (527) and receiving touchdowns (4).

A wide receiver, tight end and quarterback at Wisconsin, Daniels finished his collegiate career with 62 receptions for 852 yards (13.7 avg.) with eight touchdowns.

Daniels graduated from Naperville (Ill.) Central High School and was born on Nov. 9, 1982.
