Denver has lost several big name players this offseason. They'll be compensated for that in 2016 with several compensation picks in the draft.
They'll also receive picks this year for players that left last offseason.
In January, Over The Cap projected that the Broncos will receive four compensation picks this year. Potential picks awarded to Denver include a 4th round pick (for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie) two-6th round picks (for losing Shaun Phillips and Knowshon Moreno), and a 7th round pick (for losing Robert Ayers).
Earlier this week, Broncos general manager John Elway confirmed that the team expects four compensation picks.
"That's our calculation," Elway told the team's official website.
Four more picks would give Denver a total of ten selections.

Because Denver has so many picks, it would not be surprising to see them move around on draft day. If they do trade picks, they can only trade their six scheduled selections (compensation picks cannot be traded).
The NFL awards 32 compensation picks each year to teams that have lost more or better compensatory free agents the previous year. The picks are for the last five rounds (3 through 7).
The compensation picks are expected to be officially awarded later this month.
