Langford has played the past four seasons for the St. Louis Rams. The 29-year old veteran is also scheduled to visit the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.
Langford is listed at 6'6, 313lbs which is the ideal size to be a 5-technique defensive end in a 3-4 defense. The Broncos are transitioning to a 3-4 defense and only have Derek Wolfe and Malik Jackson at defensive end. Langford would provide competition and some much-needed depth at defensive end.
In seven NFL seasons, Langford has totaled 242 tackles, 15.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. His best overall season came in 2013 when he totaled 49 tackles, 5 sacks, and 4 pass deflections. This past season he totaled 25 tackles and 1 sack for the St. Louis Rams defense.
There's nothing special about Langford, but he will give the Broncos depth along the defensive line, and a solid run defender who can help make up for the potential loss of defensive tackle Terrance Knighton
