NFL Free Agency: Broncos are showing interest in Chris Myers and Stefen Wisniewski

With Rodney Hudson off the market, the Broncos turn their sights to Myers and Wisniewski.

It was reported earlier today that the Oakland Raiders and center Rodney Hudson have agreed to a five-year, $44.5M dollar deal. This deal will make Hudson one of the highest paid centers in the NFL.

According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, Hudson was high on the Broncos radar this offseason. However, the Broncos were not willing to go as high as the Raiders went with money.

The Broncos now will set their sights on the remaining centers on the market. Alex Marvez of Foxsports.com is reporting that the Denver Broncos have shown interest in center Chris Myers.

Myers was recently released by the Houston Texans and is very familiar with Gary Kubiak's offense. During his time in Houston, Myers was one of the better centers in the NFL. His familiarity with Kubiak's offense has to make him attractive to the Broncos.

Also, Myers shouldn't cost the Broncos much. He will not require a ton of money over a long period of time. Most likely he would be looking for a short, cheap deal. With the Broncos not looking to overpay players this offseason, I think this is the approach they're expected to go.

Another name that continues to be mentioned for the Broncos is former Oakland Raiders center Stefan Wisniewski. He's the second best center on the free agent market. It will be interesting to see if his asking price ends up being too high for the Broncos.
