Denver took a second look at Colorado State-Pueblo defensive end Josh Bredl Thursday.

Bredl participated in a regional NFL combine at Broncos headquarters last month, and was invited back for a priviate workout, per the National Football Post's Aaron Wilson.

The massive (6-7, 300 lbs.) defensive lineman benched 225 pounds 30 times at a super regional combine, according to Wilson. He runs a 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds, according to ESPN.

Among Tony Softli's top 800 small school prospects, Bredl comes in at No. 711. He is projected to go undrafted by NFLDraftScout.com.

Bredl played three seasons at CSU-Pueblo. Appearing in 34 games, he recorded 58 tackles and 6 sacks. He played tight end in high school.

After the draft concludes on May 2, Denver will fill their 90-man offseason roster by signing undrafted free agents. Bredl is a prospect to watch for when UDFA signings begin.
