2016 Cap situation
Looking ahead to next year, the Broncos will start off with about 115 million in roster expenditures. With the salary cap at 143.3 million in 2014, expect that number to increase slightly to perhaps 147 million. Add a rollover of maybe 2-3 million after all is said and done and the Broncos are looking to have about 35 million. Assuming this is Manning's last season add an additional 19 million and the Broncos will have closer to 54 million free.
