The Denver Broncos selected former Colorado State offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo with their second-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was ranked as the 100th overall prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft according to CBS Sports, and was considered the 11th best offensive tackle in the entire draft.
OT Ty Sambrailo, our 2nd rd pick from CSU, really fits our system. We expect him to come in and compete for a starting job at right tackle.

- Makes back-side cuts
- Versatile. Can play guard, center and either tackle spot
Weaknesses:
- Needs to work some as a run blocker.
- Hand usage in the run game is inconsistent
- Has shorter arms then you would like
- Needs to get stronger
Quotes:
"He's kind of a finesse guy in the passing game. I like his upside, he just needs to keep getting stronger. His athletic ability is outstanding." -- Mike Mayock
My thoughts:
I really liked this pick for the Broncos. He's athletic and versatile so he fits with the Broncos very well. It's interesting that Elway mentioned that he will compete at right tackle. I think he is a better guard in the NFL.
I'd be surprised if Sambrailo isn't starting somewhere on the offensive line. The Broncos reportedly worked him out as a center, but I think he's too tall to be a center. My best guess is that he will be our left guard and Schofield will be our right tackle.
A very good pick for the Broncos who I believe are having a very good draft thus far.
