  • Versatile. Can play guard, center and either tackle spot

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to work some as a run blocker.
  • Hand usage in the run game is inconsistent
  • Has shorter arms then you would like
  • Needs to get stronger

Quotes:

"He's kind of a finesse guy in the passing game. I like his upside, he just needs to keep getting stronger. His athletic ability is outstanding." -- Mike Mayock

My thoughts:

I really liked this pick for the Broncos. He's athletic and versatile so he fits with the Broncos very well. It's interesting that Elway mentioned that he will compete at right tackle. I think he is a better guard in the NFL.

I'd be surprised if Sambrailo isn't starting somewhere on the offensive line. The Broncos reportedly worked him out as a center, but I think he's too tall to be a center. My best guess is that he will be our left guard and Schofield will be our right tackle.

A very good pick for the Broncos who I believe are having a very good draft thus far.
