Broncos have 86 players on roster, with up to five potential signings coming

Denver is expected to sign a tight end — and more — in the coming days.

After waiving two players on Monday, the Broncos have 86 players on the roster.

The team is allowed to carry 90 players during the offseason. If Denver places tight end Jeff Heuerman on injured reserve, they'll be left with five open spots.

That means up to five signings are coming, perhaps starting with tight end.

Expect a few transactions as early as later today.
