Broncos sign T Ryan Harris

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Broncos added a familiar face to the Tackle lineup on Thursday when they agreed to terms with former Broncos Tackle Ryan Harris. Harris started 34 games for the Broncos from 2007-2010, most of which were at RT. Ryan is very familiar with Head Coach Gary Kubiak having started a total of 5 games from 2012-2013 as a Houston Texan. Last year as a Chief, Harris started 15 games all at RT and surrendered 5 sacks, 7 hits, and 25 hurries.

Harris has played a handful of games at LT, but he isn't being brought in to compete here. News today had 2nd round pick Ty Sambrailo starting at LT, so that would mean Schofield, Harris, and Clark are in the mix at RT. Honestly, with Clark's poor play at RT last season you could probably pencil in Schofield or Harris at RT with Clark being the reserve swing tackle.

In the end you might end up with a lineup like this:

LT Sambrailo

LG Schofield

C Garcia

RG Vasquez

RT Harris

Who knows? The Broncos OL situation just became infinitely more unstable and hard to predict.
