The Denver Broncos signed Former Clemson offensive lineman Kalon Davis to contract after the draft ended on Saturday. Davis was also a Honorable Mention All-ACC selection this past season.

My thoughts:
He's a big dude.
I think Davis has a decent shot at making the Broncos roster. The Broncos do lack depth at guard, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him challenge for a roster spot.
My biggest concern with him is scheme fit. He seems like a better fit for a power scheme, not a zone blocking scheme that relies on athleticism from its offensive lineman.
One thing about Kalon Davis is the snake eye contacts that he wears. He decided against tattoos, instead he went with these unnerving contacts.
Here's what Clemson's Offensive line Coach had to say about his contacts.
"Lord, have mercy. I didn’t know what to say," Caldwell said Friday. "But you know, it was a fun thing. It’s probably no different than people wearing sunglasses. But it does look a little intimidating. That’s for certain."
Davis says as long as he plays football that he will continue to wear these contacts. Imagine lining up against a 6'5", 340lb man with crazy eyes?
Lord, have mercy.
