Ray has been limited to individual drills during OTAs and minicamp while he recovers from a toe injury, but that's expected to change next week.
"The plan is for him to do some team next week. He has kind of been doing more 7-on-7 and individual work. We hope to get him in some team reps next week. And then summer will be really important to him. There are a lot of guys that get to get away and then there are some guys that are going to have to stay here and make sure they’re 100 percent and ready to go. He’s going to be one of those guys. So, it’s going to be an important five weeks for him."
As Kubiak mentions, Ray is expected to stay in and around Dove Valley after minicamps conclude. He'll be at the team facility rehabbing his toe injury and make sure he's 100% healthy for Training Camp. It's something that fellow edge rusher Von Miller did last offseason, and it helped him get back to 100% rather quickly.
