Broncos linebacker Von Miller named NFL's 33rd-best player by NFL Network

Miller jumps 43 spots in NFLN's annual rankings.

(NFL Network)

Broncos linebacker Von Miller was named the 33rd-best player in the league by NFL Network last night. NFLN revealed players 40-31 in their annual Top 100 Players list.

Miller is the third-highest ranked linebacker on the list.

The three-time Pro Bowler is the third Bronco to make the list this year, joining receiver Emmanuel Sanders (No. 95) and outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware (No. 87).

Based on a teaser tweet from the team's official account on Wednesday, it looks like cornerback Aqib Talib, receiver Demaryius Thomas, and quarterback Peyton Manning are the remaining Broncos still to be revealed. That would give the team a total of six players on the list this year, two fewer than last year.

It also means cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is not on the list, inexcusably.

Harris is on Pro Football Focus's list of Top 101 players, along with six of his teammates. Harris was ranked 4th overall among all NFL players by PFF earlier this year.

He told MHR in April that he's the best cornerback in the NFL.

Meanwhile, Miller has made NFL Network's list after each of his four seasons in the NFL. He's one sack away from his 50th quarterback take down entering the 2015 season.
