According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas reportedly haven't exchanged any proposals or had any dialogue in over a month.
With clock ticking, interesting to note Broncos and Demaryius Thomas have not exchanged any proposals nor had any dialogue in over a month.

Well then...
Schefter's recent tweet conflicts what Mike Klis had to say yesterday, and CBS 4's Vic Lomardi who tweeted out earlier today that both sides were talking.
I'm told the Broncos are continuing to have constructive discussion with the DT camp. Good sign. At least they're talking.

So what's going on? I have no idea.
The Denver Post's Troy Renck tweeted out that the Broncos have long had a "significant offer" out to Demaryius Thomas. Will things change as the deadline approaches, who knows?
All we know is that the Broncos and Thomas have until 2 p.m. Mountain time(4 p.m. Eastern) to come to an agreement on a new deal. Until then we're all along for this long crazy ride.
Update:
Mike Klis was on 105.5 ESPN Denver just a few minutes ago and said the Broncos could get a deal done with Thomas tomorrow.
#Broncos insider @MikeKlis believes the club could get a deal done with Demaryius Thomas by tomorrow’s deadline. Closer to Megatron money.

I still have no idea what's going on.
