According to the Denver Posts Troy Renck, the Broncos offered wide receiver Demaryius Thomas a deal that eclipses the $40 million guaranteed mark.
UPDATE on DT story. Speculation from multiple agents is #broncos offer eclipses $40 mill guaranteed. Will that be enough? Deadline tomorrow

So if these rumors are true, the Broncos reportedly offered Thomas a deal "well north" of $12 million a year with $40+ million in guaranteed money. Will this be enough for Thomas?
Reports indicate that Thomas is in search of a deal equal or higher than the deal Calvin Johnson got from the Detroit Lions. The amount here that matters is the guaranteed money. Johnson is receiving $48.75 million from the Lions, so it will be interesting to see if Thomas will accept a deal with less than that amount.
So this deal would make Thomas the second highest paid receiver in the league. Will this enough? We will find out soon.
There's conflicting reports out there about whether or not the Broncos are currently talking or not, but we will all find out the answer to this issue in about 12 hours.
If Thomas and the Broncos cannot agree to a new deal by tomorrow's 2pm deadline, Thomas is expected to skip Training Camp and the Preseason, according to Mike Klis.
Hopefully we all wake up to some good news tomorrow morning.
Go Broncos!!
