Horse Tracks: NFLPA not pursuing collusion claims against the Broncos

Good Morning Broncos Country!

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Since the Denver signed wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, and the Dallas Cowboys signed wide receiver Dez Bryant, the NFLPA is not expected to pursue collusion claims.

The NFLPA claims that they were going to move forward investigating these collision claims if Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas did not sign long-term contracts.

The union said they had "credible evidence" that the Dallas Cowboy's and the Denver Broncos had discussions about Bryant's and Thomas's contracts.

Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway issued a statement calling these allegations false.

"Suggestion our club may have colluded with another team about a negotiation is completely false and without any merit."

Many have speculated that neither the Cowboys or the Broncos were ever concerned about these claims, and that it was just a ploy by the NFLPA to help the two players get a contract.

This shouldn't be an issue going forward.

Manning wins an ESPY:

Last night ESPN held it's annual ESPY awards, and Peyton Manning came away with an award. Manning won the ESPY for Best Record-Breaking Performance.

My favorite Demaryius Thomas moment:

It's an obvious one. We were in the midst of "Tebow-time" and somehow in the playoffs against the heavily favored Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Tim Tebow entered overtime against Dick Lebeau's defense and slung the ball to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas for an 80 yard touchdown to win the game.

This clip still gives me chills till this day, and probably always will.

Glad Demaryius will be a Bronco for a long time.
