Jack Del Rio thinks the Raiders can win the AFC West this year

Hahahaha

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Oakland Raiders Head Coach Jack Del Rio recently said he "doesn't see why not" when asked if the Raiders can win the AFC West this season.

If you're in a need of a good laugh Broncos Country, watch this video here of former Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio saying he doesn't see why the Raiders won't win the AFC West.

"Goal No. 1 is to win our division, and I don’t see why not,"

The Raiders haven't won the AFC West since 2002. Their highest win total since 2012 was 8 games(2011 and 2012), and they have won an average of 4.6 games a season since 2002. They have also had 9 different head coaches since 2002.

The Raiders are building a nice young nucleus on their team, but to say "you don't see why the Raider's won't win the AFC West," which is one of the strongest divisions in the NFL, is a bit out there.

Now the Raiders might improve from their three-win season last year, but they figure to be in the basement of the AFC West once again in 2015. With the way the Raiders fire coaches every other year, he may need to win the division quickly to stick around to be the team's coach.

Have fun with this one MHR!
