Live Blog: Denver Broncos at Seattle Seahawks

The Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks in the first game of preseason. Brock Osweiler will see extensive action tonight, so now is as good a time as any to see what we got in this veteran who has never started a regular season NFL game.

MHR Review: Game Preview Broadcast Map Manning Benched 5 Things Inactives

In what is likely the second most meaningless game of the season, the Denver Broncos travel to Washington state to face the Seattle Seahawks in the first preseason game of the year for both teams. Add that to the fact that Peyton Manning isn't going to play a single snap tonight and what we get is a meaningless game for the Seahawks and a very important one for Broncos fans.

Why you ask? Brock Osweiler, that's why. Plenty of you are already convinced he is the second coming of John Elway, while many of you think he's going to be a complete bust. The rest of you are withholding judgement until you see him play in the regular season. I'm siding on the bust crowd, but whoopin' that Seahawks butt would put me right back into the second coming crowd.

Being the eternal optimist I am when it comes to the Orange and Blue, I'm going to predict big things for Brock tonight. He'll throw three touchdowns and torch the Seahawks secondary early on. The Orange Crush defense comes to play and plays the entire game, dominating the anemic Seahawks preseason vanilla offense. And we all get to start talking Super Bowl in mid-August. Life is good.

Prediction: Broncos 27, Seahawks 3.

What is your prediction, Broncos Country?
