A day-by-day Broncos player breakdown is something we've been doing since our days at BroncoTalk nearly a decade ago. This year the tradition continues as we look at the Denver Broncos roster heading into the 2015 season in our 90-in-90 series.
Name: Von Miller
Position: OLB
Height: 6'3" Weight: 250
Age: 26 Experience: 5
College: Texas A&M
Since the first season Von Miller joined the Denver Broncos after being drafted 2nd overall in the 2011 draft, Miller has been a dynamic force of nature on the Denver defense. His presence alone on the field changes the dynamic of the game.
Von has taken been an impact player since day one. His first play from scrimmage was a forced fumble. He is disruptive, dangerous, relentless, and an entertaining sack dance artist.
The good: Almost everything you would ask a pass rushing linebacker to do. He is one of the best pass rushers in a league the puts a premium on that skill. He's absolutely disruptive against the run. He also does well in zone coverage when he's asked to.
The bad: Miller can't play man-on-man against Rob Gronkowski at the goal line very well. Smack yourself in the face, Jack Del Rio.
The only bad thing I seriously had in my notes about Miller was his risk level in connection with the NFL drug program. That has been wiped clean this year.
Status: He's an elite NFL starter that almost all NFL teams would love to have starting for them. He makes the team and is a leader for the Denver Broncos defense in 2015.
