Update: Anderson's hip was evaluated, but there was "no concussion issue," according to the Denver Post's Troy Renck.
It's getting scrappy at Broncos practice.
Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan shoved running back C.J. Anderson to the ground after a catch during practice today, according to local media.
Trevathan shoves Anderson to the ground after a reception. Way too heavy of contact for a practice without full pads.

Trevathan knocks down CJ. CJ down. Trevathan yelled at by coaching staff for being stupid. CJ said play was fine. CJ back in

Anderson apparently hit his head on the ground when he fell.
Weird moment. Cj gets blasted by trevathan hits back of head goes down gets attended to looks like a concussion goes in on next play. Smh

Some were surprised how quickly C.J. returned to the field.
I have no clue what the concussion protocol his here for practice. For the time they looked at Cj I'm shocked he went back in so quick

Hopefully C.J.'s head held up OK.
I will have to assume he got the wind knocked out of him not a head thing. Wasn't pretty. Trevathan was yelled at and Cj told him good hit

Coach Gary Kubiak should address any potential injuries after practice.
