The most notable cut is quarterback Zac Dysert, who has been the team's No. 3 QB. This likely means rookie Trevor Siemian is safe.
Cutting punter Spencer Lanning also shows that the team is confident in Britton Colquitt. Fullback Joe Don Duncan is an early candidate for the practice squad.
After trading tackle Chris Clark to the Texans, Denver's roster is at 78 players.
Stay tuned as more cuts and transactions will be coming soon.
