By now, you've likely heard about the situation surrounding Aldon Smith.

For those that were wondering, he is not subject to waivers.

Smith is likely to receive a lengthy suspension from the NFL.

Denver's Von Miller says he will be there for Smith.

Miller was selected second overall int he 2011 NFL draft. Smith was selected seventh overall. The two defenders averaged over 11.5 sacks per season over the past four years.
Smith is now without a team, just days after Miller was cleared from the NFL's drug program. Both players had comparable talent, but only one improved his off-field decision making.
Here's hoping Smith can get things back on track like Miller did.
