Thursday Night Football: Washington Redskins at New York Giants - Live Blog

Yet another NFC East prime time matchup early in 2015. This will be the New York Giants second prime appearance in three weeks and with the Washington Redskins getting in on the action, the fifth NFC East team in prime so far this season.

NFC East Giants Favored NFC East

It's starting to feel like my sleeper pick New York Giants are a lot like my sleeper pick Atlanta Falcons in 2014. I'm one year too early on buying their stock. That said, I'm going to give them one more try before I start abandoning ship so to speak. This game features strength against strength with the Washington Redskins number one ranking rushing attack going up against the Giants 3rd best run defense.

If the Giants can somehow shut the Redskins rushing attack down, its then going to be about weakness against weakness. Who freaking knows what will happen in that regard. One thing I am certain about is that Eli Manning will figure out a way to throw the ball against this tough Redskins secondary. The battle is going to be a tough, low scoring affair if the first two games are any indication of what to expect tonight. I'm going with the Giants in a close one.

Prediction: Giants 16, Redskins 13
