Horse Tracks: Darius Slay will ask Manning to sign ball if he intercepts him

Good Morning Broncos Country!

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lion's cornerback Darius Slay is playing against future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning for the first time this Sunday night, and he has some big plans.

Slay says if he intercepts Manning, he is going to ask the quarterback to sign the ball on the spot.

"It’s going to be my first time ever playing him, so I’m letting you know now, if I get a pick from him, he gotta sign that," Slay said, smiling. "He gotta sign that. I gotta have that. Signature, right then, on the spot. I’m going to have the pen in my pocket. I’m going to his sideline if I do it, like, hey, holler at me. I know it’s just a turnover, but hey, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance here."

While I understand his excitement, he should wait until after the game to get Manning's autograph. Doing it during the game is just disrespectful, and would probably piss off Manning.

This will be something to keep an eye on during Sunday night's game.

Watch Manning torch him.

Now this is funny:

I can see it.
