According to Ben Garland's twitter account, the Denver Broncos have decided to waive guard Ben Garland during today's series of cuts.

After the Broncos let starting left guard Orlando Franklin walk in free agency, Ben Garland was first in line to take over as the starter. He kept that role throughout the spring, and into the start of Training Camp.
Garland earned praise from coaches for his athleticism, and work ethic. He shined throughout OTA's and minicamp, and he seemed to be the guy at left guard.
Must Reads
Everything quickly went downhill for Garland once the pads came on during Training Camp. After a weeks worth of practices, Garland was replaced by rookie lineman Max Garcia at the left guard spot. Garland began fighting for a backup job behind Garcia and Vasquez.
When the Broncos signed veteran guard Evan Mathis to replace Max Garcia at left guard, the chances for Garland to make the 53 man roster were slim. Garcia would be the backup for both guard spots, and this would leave Garland and probably veteran Shelley Smith without jobs.
Garland might not be completely off the Broncos. He still does have one year of eligibility left for the Broncos practice squad. So it will be interesting to see if Garland makes the Broncos practice squad tomorrow.
