According to 9NEWS Denver's Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos will promote rookie cornerback Taurean Nixon off their practice squad. The Broncos placed safety/returner Omar Bolden on the season ending injured reserve earlier today, so Nixon takes his roster spot.

The Denver Broncos selected the former Tulane cornerback in the seventh round, pick 251 in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was waived by the team during final cuts but was eventually added to the teams 10-man Practice Squad.
Nixon is a 5'10", 187lb cornerback is known for his blazing speed at Tulane. He played along side fifth round pick Lorenzo Doss at Tulane. Now both rookies will be on the 53 man roster for the AFC Championship game for the Denver Broncos.
Nixon will provide depth at cornerback with Chris Harris Jr. banged up, and on special teams where Bolden made his living for the Broncos.
I would be surprised to see Nixon active on gameday for the Broncos. It is more likely that rookie Lorenzo Doss would be active on Sunday with Harris being banged up. He projects to be a slot corner and would provide depth for a banged up Chris Harris Jr.
