Peyton Manning will start at quarterback for the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, the Broncos have announced. Brock Osweiler, who started in seven games in Manning's stead in the regular season, has resumed his backup role.
Gary Kubiak told players in their Thursday morning meeting of the decision to start Manning. He met with Manning and Osweiler each before announcing the decision, according to the Broncos.

The news comes in pairs with this move: apparently Osweiler suffered a knee injury against the Chargers, but should be ready to go as Peyton's backup by next Sunday.
It's an interesting decision. Statistically, Brock Osweiler played better than Peyton Manning this season. But it's tough to keep a future Hall of Famer on the bench. We will have much more soon; let us know what you think of the move in the poll and comments.
