Broncos vs Chargers participation report: Trevor Siemian still listed as limited

The Denver Broncos had practice Monday morning and nearly enjoyed full participation for the first time in weeks.

The Denver Broncos used last week to get healthy. It looks like Donald Stephenson and Virgil Green will be ready to play on Thursday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers. In hindsight, they were likely needed this past Sunday, but if the Broncos were to drop a game it might as well be against a non-conference opponent.

“I am tired of sitting and waiting,” Green said of returning to the field. “I believe this is the week. I’m excited to go and play in California and be with my guys out there.”

Trevor Siemian is still listed as “limited”, but there have been reports that he will play through the pain against the Chargers on Thursday. The only player still healing up is DeMarcus Ware who figures to return possible for the Monday night showdown with Houston.

The Chargers on the other hand are just a disaster on the injury front. Not counting all of their injured reserve players (and there are many) they have seven plays who would not be healthy enough to practice on Monday, which means many of them likely won’t be game ready by Thursday.
