Coming off a tough home loss, the Denver Broncos opened just a 2.5 point favorite over the struggling San Diego Chargers. That line has since risen to 3 points leading up to the Thursday Night Football showdown.
The Chargers are 1-4, but could be 4-1 had they not lost every game to some boneheaded play in the final two minutes by all three phases of their team. The Broncos on the other hand have had ice in their veins in the fourth quarter, outscoring every opponent through five games by a wide margin.
This makes the line probably just about right for this game as the Chargers have played better than their record despite a massive amount of injuries. The Broncos also get several key players back and it sounds like Trevor Siemian might be the starter also.
Denver is the better team and should win this game, but you should never take road divisional games in Prime Time lightly.
