After dropping two straight games, the Denver Broncos will be looking to get back on track. More than that, they will be looking to punish Brock Osweiler for running away to the Houston Texans in free agency. Denver opened 6.5-point favorites, with the line moving up over a touchdown since.

The Broncos defense is a bit hungry for this game, so despite the high spread it might make sense to take the Broncos to cover.

“We know that Brock likes to hold the ball so I feel that we can get a lot of good pressure on him,” Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall said of Osweiler. “Just watching their offense, I think this can be a great week for us, I can say that.”

Marshall went on to say there is no ill will towards Osweiler personally, but they want to make him suffer on Monday Night Football.

Chris Harris Jr. feels that the pressure is going to get to him and that will give the No Fly Zone some opportunities to make some plays.

“It is what it is,” Harris said of Osweiler. “We know that he left us. It’s going to be great. I’m pretty sure that he wants to win, we want to beat him bad and get a lot of interceptions.”

This game has the feel of the showdown with the Green Bay Packers last season in terms of how motivated the defense sounds. Hopefully it translates to a dominating night of football from them.
