The talk since the Thursday night loss to the San Diego Chargers has been the need for the Denver Broncos to get their running game rolling.
On Friday’s The Afternoon Drive with Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro they reiterated that fact. As Goodman said, if you believe the statistics, the Broncos should run the football on the Houston Texans all game long on Monday Night Football. The Texans aren’t very good against the run and are very good against the pass.
What does that mean for C.J. Anderson?
Gary Kubiak said earlier this week that he wants to get rookie Devontae Booker involved more, so what does that mean for Anderson? Do they get him more touches or give them to Booker?
Given how the running game has struggled, to put it mildly, since Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts, the Broncos have to do something.
Bonus listen: MHR’s Tim Lynch joins the show and tells the guys it’s not time to panic ... yet.
