Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is reportedly fine after taking a huge hit on the sidelines in the first quarter by Melvin Gordon.
He was released from the hospital Sunday night, and Gary Kubiak reports he is doing great this morning.
Kubiak to @DenverSports760 on Wade Phillips: "He's doing great. He just left my office a few minutes ago. Had a big smile on his face."

The 69-year-old defensive coordinator was carted off the field after he was knocked down by Gordon, who was chasing down Bradley Roby after the cornerback intercepted Philip Rivers and ran back 49 yards for a touchdown.
Phillips fell backward and hit his head after impact. As he was being wheeled off the field on a stretcher, Phillips wagged his right finger signifying he was OK.

Phillips was taken to a local hospital, where the Broncos’ reported soon after that he was alert and had feeling in his extremities.
Linebackers Coach Reggie Herring took over the defensive play-calling duties.
The Broncos won the game 27-19 largely because of Phillips’ defense.
