Denver Broncos become second-winningest franchise in sports under Pat Bowlen

Only the San Antonio Spurs have a better winning percentage than the Denver Broncos since 1984.

With yet another win on Sunday over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Denver Broncos extend their winning streak to an NFL-best eight games. The win also moved them past the Los Angeles Lakers for the second-highest win percentage since Pat Bowlen took over ownership of the franchise.

The Broncos are 316-197 since 1984 putting their win percentage at .616, which is the same as the Lakers. However, one team is trending down, while the other is the best team in their sport right now.
