Last week, the oddsmakers had a ridiculously low line for the Denver Broncos against a woeful Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad and now this week they give an equally ridiculously high line of 6.5 for the Broncos over the Atlanta Falcons.
As of this writing, it has come down to 5.5 points in favor of the Broncos, which seems a bit more in line of where it should be. It seems like Vegas is still trying to figure out just how good the Broncos may or may not be, but the public really slaughtered them last week.
The Falcons are coming off an offensive annihilation of the reigning NFC Champion Carolina Panthers, so the No Fly Zone and the Broncos defense will have its hands full with that offensive attack.
During their 3-game win streak the Falcons have scored 35, 45 and 48 points. That kind of production demands the attention and respect of the Broncos defense. So far, few teams have been able to sustain any kind of offensive production against them, but none of those teams have the kind of firepower these Falcons have.
Will the Broncos pull off the win and cover?
