The Broncos were without a handful of key starters on defense for today's practice.
We already know starting defensive end Derek Wolfe is going to miss a few weeks or so with a fracture to his elbow. Also, starting cornerback Aqib Talib is likely missing his third straight game due to a back injury, but should return to the field after the bye. Joining them on the sidelines was starting safety T.J. Ward who is dealing with an illness. He should be out there Sunday, but still a little concerning.
Inside linebacker Brandon Marshall returned to the field last week but was still bothered by a hamstring injury. Those injuries are often tricky, and he has continued to be limited this week. The Broncos will need him healthy against the explosive Saints offense.
Center Matt Paradis hasn't practiced in a few weeks but has toughed it out the past two weeks and should be good to go this Sunday as well.
Starting cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and starting left tackle Russell Okung returned to practice after getting a rest day on Wednesday and should be good to go for the rest of the week.
Here is the rest of your Thursday injury report for the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints.
