— Denver Broncos (@Broncos) November 13, 2016
Position | Name |
Cornerback | Taurean Nixon |
Cornerback | Aqib Talib |
Running back/fullback | Juwan Thompson |
Quarterback | Austin Davis |
Guard | Connor McGovern |
Guard | Billy Turner |
Defensive end | Derek Wolfe |
Thoughts:
The Broncos will be without two their best defensive players today. Both cornerback Aqib Talib and defensive end Derek Wolfe are inactive for the Broncos today. Look for Kayvon Webster and Lorenzo Doss to replace Talib in the secondary and rookie Adam Gotsis and veteran Billy Winn to replace Wolfe on the defensive line.
Not having those two against the high-powered New Orleans Saints offense could make for a long morning for the Broncos defense.
Running back/fullback Juwan Thompson is also inactive for the Broncos in a somewhat surprising news. This leaves rookie Devontae Booker and Kapri Bibbs as the Broncos only running back options. Also, rookie fullback Andy Janovich must feel 100% because Thompson has been his backup.
The rest of the Broncos inactives include third-string quarterback Austin Davis, guards Billy Turner and Connor McGovern, and cornerback Taurean Nixon.
