Broncos Jaguars odds: Denver opens five-point favorites over Jacksonville

The Denver Broncos may have opened five-point favorites, but that line has since dropped to four.

The Denver Broncos (7-4) are four-point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) at the time of this posting. With Denver’s historical lack of success playing in Florida and in early games, this line feels just about right.

There is doubt surrounding Trevor Siemian being able to play this week, which means rookie Paxton Lynch could be thrown in to face the NFL’s third best pass defense in the Jaguars. The Broncos are clearly the better team, but this game could still come down to the wire.

Blake Bortles might be the worst starting “franchise” quarterback in the NFL and the No Fly Zone should be able to come down with a few turnovers. Those will be the deciding factor in the game as the Broncos offense has mostly taken care of the football in 2016.

One team needs this win a heck of a lot more than the other. They just need to execute to come away with it.
