Broncos Patriots injuries: Brandon Marshall did not participate in practice on Wednesday

New, comments

The Denver Broncos are pretty banged up heading into the most critical game of their 2016 season against the New England Patriots.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos have lost three of their last five games and are on the cusp of having their season slip away. The only time they have beaten an opponent by more than a touchdown was two weeks ago in Jacksonville and they needed a defensive score to get it there.

Not only that, they are beaten up pretty good all over the place. The odds grow longer with each passing day that a title defense will actually even be in their cards.

The message from Gary Kubiak is that they are going to stay positive. Okay, I guess.

The New England Patriots, on the other hand, are red hot and favored to win anything and everything down the stretch. And they are quite healthy, if you exclude the fact that Rob Gronkowski has been moved to injured reserve.
