The Broncos starting two inside linebackers missed their second straight practice on Thursday and now their status for Sunday's very important matchup against the New England Patriots is up in the air.
Kubiak is hopeful Todd Davis can practice tmrw. Will see a lot of Zaire Anderson regardless. Unlikely Brandon Marshall plays at this point.— Cameron Wolfe (@CameronWolfe) December 15, 2016
According to the Denver Post's Cameron Wolfe, Kubiak is "hopeful" that Todd Davis can participate in Friday's practice so there's a chance we could see him Sunday. The news isn't as promising for Marshall who appears likely to miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury.
In their place, we figure to see Corey Nelson and Zaire Anderson a bunch on Sunday. Look for the Patriots to target these two players in the run game and the pass game a bunch.
Long snapper Casey Kreiter continues to miss practice with a calf injury. It looks like veteran Thomas Gafford will get his fourth straight start for Kreiter this weekend.
Center Matt Paradis has continued his trend of sitting out Wednesday and Thursday's practices because of a hip injury, but expect him to participate in some capacity tomorrow.
As for the Patriots, the only player to miss Thursday's practice was wide receiver Danny Amendola.
