Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs - Live Blog

The Denver Broncos (8-6) need a win over the Kansas City Chiefs (10-4) this week in order to keep their playoff hopes on life support.

The Denver Broncos have thrown the ball 91 times in the last two games and produced a grand total of 13 points to show for it. If there were ever a lesson for Gary Kubiak to learn from that is to avoid abandoning the run at all costs.

Besides, the Kansas City Chiefs defense rank in the 20s in yards per carry(worse than the Broncos defense actually) this year. Just stick with it and ask Trevor Siemian to pick up key third downs and make some plays in the red zone. I sound like a broken record having said as much for now the three consecutive week. We’ll see if Kubiak has finally come to the same conclusions some of us have.

Justin Forsett has looked good running the ball, but he isn’t being given much of a chance to gain some rhythm and momentum there. That needs to change in this game.
