Some Broncos players could be breaking records on Sunday

The game vs the Tennessee Titans will set at least one record.

Two of our offensive players, Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders and defensive players, Aqib Talib, Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware and Derek Wolfe have the potential to reach a couple milestones this Sunday. Based on the Titans having the 20th worst pass defense, we could see some milestones reached and records broken. If they do, we’re almost guaranteed a win, so cheering for all our players on Sunday!

Sanders will play in his 100th career game. In addition, he needs 142 receiving yards to become the fifth player in Broncos history with three consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

Thomas needs 100 receiving yards to tie Calvin Johnson (34) for the second most 100-yard receiving games in the NFL since 2011. He has topped 1,000 receiving yards in each of the last four seasons, joining Ring of Famer Rod Smith as the only players in franchise history to accomplish that feat. Thomas has produced 33 career 100- yard receiving games (including playoffs) to represent the most in Broncos history and the third most in the NFL since 2011 when he recorded his first 100-yard output.

Both receivers have each topped 100 receiving yards in the same game six times since 2014 to lead all NFL receiving duos during that span. BZ, gentlemen!

Linebackers Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware, plus DE Derek Wolfe are also looking to break some records. Miller (12.5) and defensive end Derek Wolfe (5.5) have combined for 18 sacks to tie Washington's Ryan Kerrigan and Trent Murphy as the NFL's most prolific pass rushing duo through Week 13. If they can get one more they will become the leaders.

Since Von was awarded one more today, bringing his total to 13.5 and the duo to 19, going to assume that the above paragraph now makes them THE leaders. I’m keeping the above paragraph so you can see what they did! Now, any sack will pad their lead. Great job, guys!

On top of this, Miller needs 1.5 sacks to tie Barney Chavous (75) for third place.

Ware needs a sack to pass Richard Dent and John Randle for sole possession of eighth place on the NFL's all-time sack list.

Cornerback Aqib Talib’s nine interceptions returned for a touchdown are tied for the fourth most in NFL history. Making a tenth one against Marcus Mariota would move him into third.

Denver has won a franchise-record 29 consecutive games when winning the turnover battle to represent the longest active streak in the NFL. I'd say Miller, Ware and Wolfe surpassing their records would send the win streak to 30.

Lets all cheer for a record breaking Sunday! Or five.
