Thursday Night Football: Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs

New, comments

The AFC West gets a big game on primetime in the frozen weather of Arrowhead Stadium. The Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs vie for control over the division on Thursday Night Football.

If there were ever a Thursday Night Football game for Denver Broncos fans to watch, it would be this one. The 10-2 Oakland Raiders head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the 9-3 Kansas City Chiefs in a game that could decide the AFC West champion.

I bet the Broncos wished they had come away with that win over the Chiefs a few weeks ago.

If you need a team to “root” for, the most likely path for the Broncos that leads to winning the AFC West at this point must start with a Raiders loss today.

You can play around with that simulation, but if you look at the matchups every playoff team has a few games they could lose down the stretch and this is the one for the Raiders besides the Week 17 matchup with the Broncos.

So suck it up and say “Go Chiefs!”
