After sitting out last weekend's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars because of a sprained foot, starting quarterback Trevor Siemian appears to be on track to start this Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Sure sounds like Trevor Siemian is playing. Foot just has to not have setback tomorrow. #9sports— Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) December 9, 2016
Siemian was a limited participant in practice all week but it sounds like if his foot responds well tomorrow that he will get the start Sunday. All signs point to that, so the Broncos will have their starter in a very important game for the Broncos.
The news is not as good for starting inside linebacker Brandon Marshall. He suffered a hamstring injury late in Sunday's game against the Jaguars and has been officially ruled out of Sunday's game. This loss could be costly because of the Titans run attack that features DeMarco Murray. Look for Corey Nelson along with Todd Davis to get the majority of the work at inside linebacker.
Inactive for the third straight week in long snapper Casey Kreiter. Thomas Gafford has filled in nicely for Kreiter so hopefully, everything goes smoothly again this weekend.
Wide receiver Bennie Fowler is officially listed as questionable, but there shouldn't be any reason to rush him back to action. The Broncos do have eight wide receivers on their active roster for whatever reason, so if Fowler isn't 100% I think he will be inactive on Sunday.
As for the Titans, Jurrell Casey who is their best defensive player is listed as questionable after sitting out all week with a foot sprain.
Here is the entire Friday injury report for the Broncos and the Titans.
